Sludge falls under wastewater management.

After ozonation, the release of the bonded water in cells or flocs is responsible for decreasing of bonded water and the increase of solid content of dewatered cake.

In most conventional systems, DAF + Biological treatment + Sedimentation is used.
We are using Ozonation instead of Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) & reducing the size of Activated Sludge treatment. This is followed by Sedimentation.
For sewage treatment, biological treatment is not required at all, thereby making the process even more simplified : Methodical Ozonation (whereby BOD, COD
is reduced below pollution control board norms) --> Sedimentation (using Tube-Deck media) --> Sludge-holding --> Filter Press --> Disposal. Thus the process
even reduces the overall capital cost of making an STP by upto 40% and saves space by 50%.

Multiple chemicals are completely negated when Ozonation is used, as it itself takes care of disinfection and de-toxification of a range of wastewater parameters.
